My husband purchsed this boot a few months earlier, so I tried these on at a local store loved them. But the 1 pair they had in my size had a defect, so I found it on Amazon @ a great price. I was able to wear them right away with no break in time. They are very supportive for my weak ankles, but aren't too stiff or bulky. They are perfect for all the walking I do during the cold, wet months we have had in GA this year. My feet stay warm dry. They are attractive easy to clean also.

Back of boot uncomfortable - Kathleen Mendiola - California
This boot fit well except for the back where it rubbed against the tendon above my heel on my left foot only. I am short, so perhaps it is sized for taller people. I tried a lift inside the shoe, which cured the rubbing but caused foot pain. Finally I cut the inside top back of the shoe and removed some of the stuffing, which cured the problem. The rest of the shoe fits great, plenty of toe room, and not too heavy.

Hi-Tech Boots 41101 - C. E. Delage -
These boots are comfortable and easy to clean. They are completely waterproof and easy to lace up. They are great for the weekend hiker, providing comfort and stability. The only drawback is that they are a bit heavy. Still they are a good value for the money. I purchased them for less than from Amazon.
